The Eastside Church of Christ

*** Matt. 18:1-3; At that time came the disciples unto Jesus saying, who is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven? And Jesus called a little
child unto him, and set him in the midst of them. And said, Verily, I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye
shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.***

If you are a young person that is looking for a church home and looking for youth that are not caught up in
gangs, drug activity, and looking for other positive youth that are becoming leaders in our community. The
Eastside Church of Christ is the place to you want to be. The youth here at Eastside believe as Jesus said in Matt.
5:14; That we are to be the light that so shine before men, that they may see our good works, and positive
things and glorify our father which is in heaven. We have programs that are designed to motivate any and all
youth that are willing to come and obey all of the rules of our youth program.

Our youth participate in numerous activities such as the Breach where homeless people where we
facilitate ways we can help the homeless handle their anger.

Our youth also participates in our Hot Meal Program, where we feed the homeless spiritual and physical
food, and also give them free clothing. These are just a few things that our youth participates in. There
are more such as Soul Winning and telling other youth about Jesus Christ coming into this world and dying
for their sins. The bible teaches in Romans 10:17; Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

I Corinthians 15:1-4; You must hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and how he died, how we were buried
according to the scriptures and how he rose again the 3rd day according to the scripture.

Luke 13:3; Jesus teach you must repent he said " I tell you nay but except you repent you shall all likewise
perish".

Matt. 10:32; Jesus says you must confess his sins before others.

Matt. 16:16; Jesus says "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved".

Acts 2:47; says praising God and having favor with all the people the Lord added to the church such as
should be saved.

This is what all youth today have to do in order to become a member of the church in the bible. Matthew
16:18; Jesus said "Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".
