The Eastside Church of Christ

*** The Eastside Church of Christ offers the Community a Hot Meal on the 3rd Saturday of the months
of June - August outdoors. In November and December we offer food baskets to feed a family ***

We serve grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, desserts (cakes, pie, various sweets) and
soda. In the winter months of November and December baskets are served to the first 50
families participating. We also have in season adult men, women and children clothing for
those in need. Everything that we offer is absolutely free. We also have preaching during
this event. So make sure you come done to be fed physically as well as spiritually.

This program is endorsed by scripture 100% of the way. Matthews 25:34-40; Then shall the King say unto
them on his right hand, come, ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world; Verse 25; For i was hungry, and you gave me meat; I way thirsty, and you gave
drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visit me: I was
in prison, and you came unto me. Verse 37; Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw
we thee and hungry, and feed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? Verse 38; When saw we thee a
stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothese thee? or when saw we thee sick, in prison, and came
unto thee? Verse 40; And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, and as much as
you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me.

Matthew 14:16-21; But Jesus said unto them, they need not depart; give ye them to eat. Verse 17; and
they said unto him, we have here but five loaves and 2 fishes. He said, bring them hither to me. Verse 19;
and he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and two fishes, and
looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the
multitude. Verse 20; and they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragements that remained,
12 baskets full. Verse 21; and they that had eaten were about 5000 mens, besides women and children.
